What are the specific actions to be taken?

The actions to be taken depend on your role:

• Jewellery manufacturers and assay masters who are already registered will need to check the accuracy of their data.
• New jewellery manufacturers will have to register with the new online tool.
• New assay masters will have to register with the new online tool.
• New: buyers of precious metals will also have to register with the new online tool.[1]
• Please note: traders/retailers who do not manufacture their jewellery are no longer required to register with the assay office register of the Royal Mint of Belgium.
