BE-GATE

BE-GATE is an initiative developed by the General Administration of Customs and Excises in order to provide efficient solutions for the development of e-commerce. Economic operators who are active, or who would like to be active, in the field of e-commerce can use BE-GATE for the import and export of goods.
  • Import via BE-GATE

BE-GATE allows you, in the context of e-commerce, to submit a very large number of arrival notifications in a single computer transaction by means of a file approved by the Customs authorities. This may only be used for shipments of € 150 and above and an additional declaration will need to be submitted in PLDA. The result of the selection (parcels to be presented to Customs) is sent back by the system to the person submitting the declaration and contains the result of the selection, line by line.
  • Export via BE-GATE

BE-GATE can also be used for exporting consignments whose value does not exceed 1,000 Euro and who weight less than 1,000 kg; an additional declaration in PLDA is required in other cases.
  • Advantages of BE-GATE
