In recent years, the General Administration of Patrimonial Documentation (GAPD) has included quality improvement of the cadastral parcel map as a strategic objective, the aim being to make the cadastral parcel map conform to INSPIRE recommendations regarding absolute accuracy. The INSPIRE directive recommends an average absolute accuracy of 1 m for parcel boundaries in urban zones and 2.5 m for those in rural zones.
Quality improvement processes are different for the three regions. Detailed information on those processes can be found via the links below:

- Walloon Region: quality improvement of the cadastral parcel map
This map gives you an overview of the percentage of cadastral blocks that meet INSPIRE standards or have been fully upgraded by municipality.
