To be able to log in securely to MyMinfin (and other FPS Finance applications), you must identify yourself personally with a digital key. The digital keys also depend on your nationality.

How to do this?
- Go on MyMinfin.be
- Sign in
- Either via itsme®
- Or via your identity card (you need a card reader and the PIN code of your identity card)
- Either via itsme®
I am a Belgian citizen but I no longer have a Belgian identity card
You can apply for an electronic identity card at the Belgian embassy or consulate in your country of residence.
I have an identity card from a Member State of the European Union
You can currently use MyMinfin with an identity card issued from one of the following countries:
- Czech Republic
- Croatia
- Estonia
- Germany
- Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
- Italy
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Portugal
- Slovakia
- Spain
- The Netherlands

If you meet identification problems, consult the help page or get in touch with the competent departments of the country concerned.
I do not have an identity card from a Member State of the European Union
If you are in Belgium or if you can go to this country: even without a European identity card, you can get access to the online service of the administration. To this end, make an appointment with the nearest local registration office and follow the procedure. We recommend that you activate the digital key “security code sent by e-mail”, this key is easy to use and secure.
