How do I declare my pension for the non-resident tax?

  • I have a statutory pension (1st pillar) from the private sector or from a public body exercising a commercial or industrial activity (SNCB, Bpost, Belgacom, etc.)

    Your pension is taxable in Belgium.

    Please fill in:

    • Box I (contact details)
    • Box III (your situation)
    • Box VI ("Pensions") (please fill in also section D)
    • Box XIII ("Foreign income"): state any income that is not from Belgian sources.

  • I have a pension from the public sector (as former career or contract civil servant)

    You are a Polish citizen

    You will have no tax to pay on your Belgian pension.

    Please fill in:

    • Box XIII (foreign income and Belgian income exempted from tax), A, 1., a (pensions)
