Procedure to observe

1. An institution informs that it keeps funds on behalf of a person or entity referred to in the sanctions regime and asks to check if the person or entity is the one concerned by the freezing measures.

2. The institution must provide all information it has at its disposal allowing to carry out the necessary checking (for instance, a copy of the identity card or the passport of the person concerned) as well as the number of the Regulation or the Decision as regards the regime of sanctions concerned where the name of the person or entity is mentioned.
